Veteran TV and Movie actor, Mike Farrell, best known for his role as Captain B. J. Hunnicut in the long-running TV series, M*A*S*H will speak at Tapestry, A Unitarian Universalist Congregation on Sunday, October 30 during the service which begins at 10:00 a.m. Farrell.will speak on his long-time crusade against a very timely topic, The Death Penalty. He has also been involved with the American Indian Movement and the ACLU. In 2004, he received the Donald Wright Award from California Attorneys for Criminal Justice. Since 1979 he has been spokesperson for CONCERN/America, an international refugee aid and development organization.
Included in his presentation will be a Q & A period. After the service, Farrell will have his books available for purchase.
Refreshments are offered after the service. The public is invited. Seating may be limited.
